The price of the painting is Rs.1100 Crores ($179 million)

 World famous painter Picasso is known to all. Though Picasso has passed away, the precious and priceless artworks he delivered will live forever. Picaso paintings are invaluable even today and it has been proved by an auction held recently.
One of Picasso’s arts is sold for a record price at an auction held at Christie’s in New York. 

‘Women of Algiers’ painting by the great artist fetched as many as $ 179 million, which sums to around 1,100 crores in Indian currency. The company Christie’s said that this is the only painting sold for such a high amount of money so far in the entire world. We have expected that the Picaso painting will be sold out for Rs. 900 crore but it fetched Rs. 1,100 crore inclusive of commission of auction house.
