Drinking hot coffee raises one's risk of getting esophageal cancer according to International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). The organization conducted research on a sample of 1000 people studying the reports on the contribution of hot drinks to various types of cancers. After analyzing the reports, it has released a new summary.
The report states that drinking coffee that is hotter than 65 degree centigrade is causing some cancers among people. It also stated that other fluids at the same temperatures may also cause similar problems, according to the analyst Dana Lumis. She reminded at the same time that coffee has certain good antioxidant that reduces the risk of some other cancers.

There has been a belief that the only way to keep the brain sharp is exercise.  But there are different types of exercises.  But two recent studies proved that running is the only exercise that aids in brain sharpness.  Though any exercise is useful to burn the fat and strengthen the muscles, it is only the running that works for the brain.

Researchers from Finland have proved this scientifically.  Cell Metabolism, a renowned health publishes this.  scientists who conducted both these experiments changes in the brain during high intensive interval training (HIT) like aerobic exercises and Resistive training (RT) like weight lifting and observed that there is no change between the two types of exercises in the brain function.


Later they observed the brain function in runners.  Surprisingly, it was observed that hippocampus, a part of brain, was functioning rapidly and its cells multiplied.  Not only did the old cells became stronger, there was genesis of new cells also.  Therefore, the came to the opinion that running is the best exercises to increase memory and intelligence.  So, guys come on run and turn intelligent.

We humans have such urgency to judge a person and maybe that is why we look for certain signs in the other person. We may appear to be talking or greeting each other, but back in our minds we are busy noticing, evaluating them.

Introduction
Indians generally take rice or wheat as their staple food. Which is better? Elders advise rotis for those who are suffering from obesity. Diabetes patients too prefer rotis to rice. This article tries to give you complete information on both the staple food items.

Roti
Rotis prepared with wheat flour are better when they are made without oil. Wheat contains proteins four times higher than that in rice. Similarly, wheat contains three times higher carbohydrates and 10 times higher potassium than in rice. Glycemic index is less in wheat than in rice. It means glucose levels won't rise in blood. Roti contains six times higher fibre than in rice. Due to this, digestion becomes slow and one does not feel hungry for a longtime. Carbohydrates in rice easily mix with blood and this troubles diabetes patients. As fibre is high in wheat flour and digestion becomes slow, it takes time for carbohydrates to mix with blood.

Rice
Fibre and micro nutrients are high in brown rice than in white rice. Brown rice is better for those persons who do not want to feel hungry even while having less food. Brown rice and white rice have almost equal nutritional values. Rotis are better for diabetes patients and those who suffer from heart problems. Glycemic index is less in wheat. Glucose levels will increase in blood with the food items having high glycemic index. So, having rotis is advisable. Rice is better food for those persons who want to gain weight. If anyone does not like wheat flour, rice can be taken in small quantities at regular intervals than consuming full rice at a time.

Rice & Roti
There is a benefit if rice and rotis are taken in a meal. It is better to have meals only two times in a day, taking one roti as part of the meals and vegetables in large quantities. If one takes the food having carbohydrates in a meal, one has to take protein-rich food items in the next. With this, one can be healthy with balanced food.

People often describe sleep paralysis as a very terrifying experience. It is due to the body, physically not being able to move although the person experiencing it is very aware of his surroundings.

IF YOU HAVE SUDDENLY WOKEN UP, UNABLE TO MOVE – THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS
Sleep paralysis is an extremely weird and startling phenomenon. The person that is experiencing sleep paralysis is often terrified after the experience which is understandable as they cannot move a muscle even if they try to.
Fortunately, this is a very common occurrence and does not cause any physical harm to the body. Sleep paralysis only occurs when we are in two stages of our sleep namely being -“hypnagogic” and “hypnopompic.” Hypnagogic sleep paralysis occurs before falling asleep, while hypnopompic sleep paralysis occurs as one wakes from REM sleep.
As we nod off, our body is in a relaxed state while we are still psychologically stimulated. When hypnagogic sleep paralysis occurs, this stimulated psyche acts up and creates vivid hallucinations in our mind and that is when the person realizes that he is unable to move his body although he is fully conscious.
Amid REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, our muscles are in a deep state of slumber with the goal so that we don’t beat the person sleeping beside us when we see a monster in our dream. When one encounters hypnopompic sleep paralysis, a specific part of the cerebrum wakes sooner. This attentive state does not influence the part of the mind in charge of REM paralysis, in any case. The outcome is a great level of attentiveness and no deliberate control over muscles.

WHO DOES THIS HAPPEN TO?
Some people are fortunate enough to experience sleep paralysis hardly once or twice in their life, if ever. It is unfortunate that some people have to go through this more often than others – even multiple times a week.
A study undertaken at Penn State University discovered that approximately 8 percent of the population has frequent issues with sleep paralysis. Individuals with mental disorders, such as anxiety and depression, are more prone to frequent episodes of sleep paralysis.

– Mental conditions, such as stress or bipolar disorder
– Sleeping on the back
– Sleep problems such as narcolepsy or nighttime leg cramps

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?
Almost all episodes of sleep paralysis have similar symptoms, such as not being able to speak ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes even after the episode is completed and being unable to go back to sleep or sometimes even losing interest in sleeping altogether due to frequent episodes terrifying them, which leads to other problems such as insomnia, etc.
The problem with sleep paralysis is that it is not something that can be treated as doctors do not exactly know what causes this. But at time some of form of treatment is used by physicians to control this scary beast.

WHAT ARE THE TREATMENTS?
Because sleep paralysis occurs naturally, there is generally no prescribed treatment. However, if a doctor detects an underlying condition in the process of diagnosis, a treatment routine could be used. Such prescribed treatments are:
– Implementation of a sleeping schedule
– Prescription for an anti-depressant
– Referral to a mental health professional
– Referral to a sleep specialist
– Treatment of any underlying sleep disorders
– Prescription for sleeping aids
Other recommendations include avoiding or severely restricting alcohol/drugs, nicotine and caffeine. It’s also recommended to keep electronic devices out of the bedroom in order to establish healthy sleep patterns.
Of course, it is very possible that a sleep paralysis episode will occur regardless. If that’s the case, try and remember to stay calm and realize that it will pass and no! There are no devils or witches or other ugly creatures that are lurking around trying to steal your sleep and roast their marshmallows.

This is not the first time that Shah Rukh, one of Hindi film industry's most successful stars, has been detained at a US airport.

In 2012, the "My Name Is Khan" actor was detained at a New York airport for two hours when he had arrived to visit Yale University, where he was honored as a Chubb Fellow.

Back in 2009, he was stopped at the Newark Airport, New Jersey, and was released after two hours at the intervention of the Indian consulate in New York.

"I was really hassled at the American Airport because of my name being Khan. It was absolutely uncalled for. I felt angry and humiliated," said Shah Rukh, who was then heading towards Chicago to participate in an Independence Day celebration event.

"It is a Muslim name and I think the name is common on their checklist," he had then said

Recently, a highly paid Model and cinema actress named Sangeetha caught on the criminal act of smuggling red sanders in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Background of Model;
A model was arrested by the Chittoor police in connection with the smuggling of red sanders in the state. Sangeeta Chatterjee, who worked as Air Hostess in Kolkata, is a model and has appeared
in several ads on the small screen. She married Lakshmana, who is notorious for red sanders smuggling, five years ago.

International Links;
As many as 10 cases were booked against Lakshmana in several police stations. He was arrested in February and later released on the bail. According to reports, Sangeetha have links with several international smugglers and they seized her several bank accounts and a locker. She was produced in the court and released on the bail. The police have sought Transit Warrant to shift the model to Chittoor on May 18.
It is said that the actress has been booked on charges of criminal conspiracy under IPC and other relevant sections of Forest Act for conspiring with the smugglers of the precious wood

Rh factor decides your blood type either +ve or -ve

Knowing your blood type is important, especially if you have frequent blood transfusions or want to be pregnant. The A, B, O blood system labels blood types with the letters A, B, AB, and O. Your blood also has a Rhesus or Rh factor, which can be either negative or positive. You inherit your blood type and Rh factor from your parents. To determine your Rh factor, find out your parents’ Rh factors for information. You also can take a blood typing test at your physician’s office.

What is Rh Factor?
Understand what determines your Rh factor. Located on your red blood cells, the Rh factor is a protein you did or did not receive from your parents. You are Rh positive when you have the protein. If the protein is not present, you are Rh negative
People with positive Rh factors have positive blood types, whether A+, B+, AB+, or O+. People with negative Rh factors have negative blood types are like A-, B-, AB-, or O-.
